A new Arizona ordinance signed into law on Friday, restricts strip clubs, adult bookstores and escort agencies from operating within a quarter mile of schools, parks, churches and residential neighborhoods.
The fight over Scottsdale’s recently approved restriction on adult entertainment clubs is heating up, with three parties now working -- albeit separately -- to put the issue in the hands of voters by having it placed on a May 16 ballot referendum.
