CJ Leaves zBuckz

HONG KONG — Craig Jackson, aka CJ, has stepped down as CEO of gay affiliate program zBuckz.

Jackson, who has been with the program for five years, told XBIZ that he is looking forward to developing a new business venture that will focus on creating and increasing online presence for content producers.

“I am going to be following up on my experience with launching the sites in the HDK [gay content producer Hot Desert Knights] network,” Jackson said.

“Following that successful launch, I have been approached by many successful producers that either did not have any presence on the web or were unsatisfied with the results of their current sites,” he said. “I am entering into some strategic partnerships where as the producers will be providing their content and my company will be providing the design and marketing for the sites.

“Our first site will be launching in early September and plans call for additional sites in October and November,” Jackson added.

zBuckz affiliate program specializes in gay Asian content, with several members website as well as the Boykakke DVD line, distributed by All Boys Video. Jackson’s business partner at zBuckz Daniel Kaufman, has bought out interest in the company and will continue as sole owner.

"During our four years of successful operations, CJ and I have evolved, leaving both of us yearning for independent paths," Kaufman said. "I, of course, wish CJ the very best of success as he pursues his new goals. My plans are to expand on the successful business model CJ and I built, while venturing into new territories within the industry."
