XonDemand Taps Jon Berg

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Adult video-on-demand content provider XonDemand has tapped Jon Berg as vice president of marketing.

Berg has an extensive work history within the adult industry, dating back to the 1990s. He is a co-founder and former president of Matrix Content and recently ended a two-year stint as vice president of Internet operations at Red Light District Films.

The split between Red Light District Films and Berg was amicable.

“Both parties saw a different vision for the future,” Berg told XBIZ. “I enjoyed working with Red Light. I had a great time.”

With Berg onboard XonDemand has planned the launch of "XonDemand Flash Movies," an XonDemand legal tube site and 130 new niche movie galleries.

"Our new program features will raise the VOD bar higher than it's ever been raised before,” Berg told XBIZ. “I wanted to be a part of this company partially due to the vast amount of content offered – it makes it easier to generate traffic and allows more innovative ways to market the company. There’s a lot of room for growth here.”

XonDemand features more than 60,000 new and classic movies with more than 15,000 free movie previews. Available in several niche screening rooms, the videos have been organized into more than 130 niches.

The company offers content from more than 800 studios including Hustler, Danni, Adam & Eve, Red Light District, Evil Angel, Digital Sin, New Sensations, Legend, Metro Interactive, Totally Tasteless Video, Bacchus, Filmco, Jake Cruise, Male Media One and Private.
