Kayden Kross Quoted on NPR News Show

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Adam & Eve contract performer Kayden Kross spoke about adult industry opposition to California Assemblyman Charles Calderon's proposed 25 percent "porn tax" on the National Public Radio news program "All Things Considered" aired on June 6.

"[It's] the principle of the thing," Kross told NPR. "The fact that they're taxing us, our industry, and not the entertainment industry as a whole or something broader, [means] they're really targeting us."

Calderon was also interviewed, and he claimed that the proposed tax would help offset the expense of "criminal activity surrounding adult entertainment venues like strip bars and arcades. The administration of justice, the control and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, child protective services, public and education."

Kross, referred to as "blonde and stacked" by NPR reporter Tamara Keith, also was represented by an audio clip from the Adam & Eve release "Kayden's Krossfire."
