DeeCash Owner Pledges to Purge Stolen Content From Rude.com

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Reaction among adult webmasters to affiliate program DeeCash's acquisition of adult networking site Rude.com has largely been positive, though some industry professionals have voiced concerns about stolen content on Rude.

In a follow-up statement on several prominent industry message boards, DeeCash owner Dee sought to defuse concerns about the presence of stolen or illegal content on Rude.com.

"Rude.com is not an illegal tube site," he wrote. "It is an interactive community more than anything."

To that end, Dee said that only approved producers would be able to upload videos to Rude.com, and that those videos would have a maximum length of three minutes. He also said that stolen content would not be tolerated on the site.

But some webmasters are dubious of Rude.com's pedigree.

On adult webmasters forum GFY.com, user VG.Content complained about stolen content on Rude.com. He included links to entire scenes from affiliate companies like OCCash.com, FunkyCash.com and others on the site. Other GFY users offered their own links to full scenes that remained on the site.

Independent webmaster and producer ADG, aka AsianDivaGirlsWebDude on GFY, told XBIZ he agreed that stolen content has been a problem on Rude.com, but he added that he harbored no bad feelings toward Dee.

"I wish those guys a lot of success in changing how that site is," ADG said.

Dee conceded that he and his technical team had not yet started enforcing their new standards for Rude.com yet, but he pledged to do so.

"I am going to get on the phone with my team over there tonight to get all the rules I am imposing implemented as fast as possible," he wrote.

In addition, Dee touted Rude.com's network of users and user-generated content, including:

• More than 2,100,000 active members.
• More than 1,175 voyeur homes, where members keep cams in their houses.
• More than 100 live cams.
• A full dating community.
• Rude TV, a related online TV station and a de facto successor to the defunct KSEX.com.

"If you browse through Rude, you will see that the stolen-content aspect is not what Rude is about," Dee said. "There [are thousands] of live cams, a huge community — people got married on Rude. It's not people trying to share stolen movies."

Dee added that future plans for Rude.com include a new virtual realm where users can build their own avatars, the addition of seven new paysites and various improvements made to the DeeCash affiliate program.
