Nominees Announced for 2008 Maleflixxx People’s Choice Awards

TORONTO — Gay video-on-demand provider Maleflixxx has opened online voting for its 2008 People’s Choice Awards. The winning video will be announced at the Grabby Awards, to be held in Chicago on Memorial Day weekend.

The nominees are:

Detention (Rascal Video)
Doggie Style (Jet Set Productions)
Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita (Lucas Entertainment)
Naked Muscles — The New Breed (COLT Studio)
Navy Blues (Centaur Films)
No Experience Necessary (BelAmi) Private Lowlife (Hot House Entertainment)
Rocks & Hard Places (Kristen Bjorn)
Trunks 3 (Hot House Entertainment)

Users can go to the Maleflixxx website to view nominated titles and vote for their choice.

"We are proud to once again put the fans in control of the Maleflixxx People's Choice Award," said Eric Johnson, president of Sureflix Digital Distribution. "The nominated studios can be proud of this acknowledgement that comes directly from their most important audience — the fans."

Sureflix is the parent company of the Maleflixxx VOD network.

The Grabby Awards were founded in 1992 by Gay Chicago magazine, and are held annually on Memorial Day weekend, to coincide with Chicago’s International Mister Leather competition and Leather Pride week.
