Police: Dead Body Likely to Be Adult Model Zoey Zane

EL DORADO, Kan. – The body of amateur solo girl Emily Sander, aka Zoey Zane, who has reportedly been missing since last Friday, may have been found, according to police.

According to authorities, a body matching Sander's physical description has been found 50 miles east of El Dorado, along U.S. Highway 54, although the remains have not yet been positively identified.

Sander, an 18-year-old student from Butler Community College, was last seen leaving a local bar with 24-year-old Israel G. Mireles, a man she reportedly met that night, who is considered to be a suspect in Sander's disappearance.

Sander's car was found parked at the bar.

On Saturday, the day Sander was reported missing, the management of the El Dorado motel, where Mireles had been living, reported to police that the room was in shambles and splattered with blood. A bed sheet also was missing.

Mireles was believed to be traveling with his 16-year-old girlfriend, Victoria Martens, in a Ford Taurus rental car, which was found in Vernon, Texas, on Tuesday – 350 miles away from where the suspect was last seen.

Authorities suspect that Mireles and Martens are attempting to escape into Mexico.

Sander reportedly surprised family members with a Thanksgiving announcement that she has been working as an amateur solo girl under the stage name "Zoey Zane." While her website is currently offline, XBIZ was able to find a number of images of the missing teen model still online.

"As soon as I turned 18, I started shooting for my site," Sander claimed on her website.

Chief of Police Tom Boren reportedly contacted the operators of Zane's website. "We did talk to the lady that operates the site," Boren said. "We didn't find any viable connection with this main suspect at this point."

Sander's grandfather, Clement Sander, appeared Monday on a televised press conference and asked for help in finding Emily.

"She was a sweet little girl, and she's done real good in school," Clement Sander said. "She had a lot of friends and was easy to get along with."
