Attorneys to Discuss Thursday's Published 2257 Regs

LAS VEGAS – Industry attorneys are slated to discuss Thursday new rules relative to 2257 record-keeping at the XBIZ Summer ’07 Industry Forum.

Some of the official proposed regulations associated with 2257 will be released by the Justice Department Thursday.

Attorneys Jeffrey Douglas, the Free Speech Coalition’s board chair, and Reed Lee, the FSC’s legal committee chair and president of the First Amendment Lawyers Association, will discuss initial analysis of the regulations.

Attorneys Greg Piccionelli, Robert Apgood and Lawrence Walters also will give their views on the new published rules in a seminar moderated by XBIZ Publisher Tom Hymes.

The seminar also will discuss current obscenity cases, ongoing CAN-SPAM litigation and other vital legal matters pertinent to the online and offline adult industry.

FSC Executive Director Diane Duke and ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine also will be on hand to answer questions at the 11 a.m. seminar.
