Doc Johnson, HighJoy.com Team on Internet-Enabled Sex Toy

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Sex toy manufacturer Doc Johnson has partnered with HighJoy.com to launch the HighJoy Internet-Enabled Rabbit sex toy.

Calling it the most "technologically advanced vibrator ever created," the cyber-powered iVibe Rabbit is the first sex toy that allows users to operate the device remotely via the Internet.

According to Howard Bragman, a spokesperson for Doc Johnson, the Rabbit has all the features of the classic model with the addition of remote Internet controls that work via the HighJoy.com online community. The device hooks up to a computer and allows two adults to pleasure each other remotely. The new Rabbit can also be used apart from the Internet as a freestanding vibrator.

“Since its inception, the Internet has been a way for people everywhere to find compatible communities and meet and interact," Doc Johnson CEO Ron Braverman said. "What we offer is the first tangible sexual experience over the Internet. It also represents the first sexual Internet encounter involving all the sensual pleasures of sight, sound, and for the first time, touch.”

In addition to powering the Rabbit, HighJoy features an online dating community where members can post a profile, search profiles, send emails and create favorites, all with the option using the new Doc Johnson sex toy over the Internet.

The HighJoy Rabbit has three distinct settings to control the intensity of stimulation through computers, making it ideal for couples to engage in long-distance relationships, the company said.

The device also can receive pre-programmed settings over the Internet that are available as downloads to the vibrator, and allow the user to experience the same motion as the actors on his or her favorite adult video.

The first shipment of the HighJoy-enabled Rabbit went out this week, the company said.

Founded in 1976, Doc Johnson is best known for toys created in conjunction with Vivid, including the Jenna Jameson sex toy line, the Rabbit and the Pocket Rocket.
