ASACP's Irvine to Appear on KSEX Radio

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Joan Irvine, executive director for ASACP, is scheduled to appear on the KSEX Radio program "Around The Block with Guy Capo & Nicki Hunter” tonight at 5 p.m.

Irvine told XBiz that the topic of the segment is how the adult industry can help in the battle against child pornography and the progress ASACP has made in its mission to help webmasters protect their businesses by protecting children.

KSEX Radio Program Director Wankus told XBiz that Irvine's appearance on Capo's show is a perfect fit that will really showcase ASACP's mission.

"When Joan called me the other day, I told her she should be on Capo's show," Wankus said. "He gives a respectful interview and asks really good questions. He's one of my best hosts."

Brooklyn-born Capo is an award-winning director for DVSX.com who crossed over into the adult industry from a career as a mainstream filmmaker, writer and actor. Capo's show, "Around the Block," has been on the air with KSEX for the past six months and already has a loyal following of KSEX listeners.

"The cool thing about Guy is his show is a mix of sex and politics," Wankus said. "He always finds a clever way of combining some of the craziest things in porn and the mainstream world. Sometimes he just rants and raves. I wish I had more time and could give him a longer show."

Irvine is next scheduled to give a presentation at the Free Speech Coalition's general meeting at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills, Calif. on Thursday, March 17, at 5:30 p.m.
