PREGANZIOL, Italy — Director-editor Claudia Ross' scene work has been nominated for six awards at the DSN Awards, an annual event created by Mossimo Bonera, host of the Italian TV series "Doppio Senso Night."
Ross' directorial debut, "The Hunger" (Wicked Pictures), stars Emma Hix and is up for Best International Showcase Movie, while its writer, Axel Braun, is nominated for Best International Screenplay.
Meanwhile, Ross' follow-up, "Silver Linings" (Elegant Angel/Adam & Eve), is up for Best International Comedy Movie.
Additionally, Ross created three scenes for Pink'O that earned Best Scene nominations, including "The Bodyguards" starring Marika Milani, Isiah Maxwell, and Romeo Major; "The Realtor" featuring Priscilla Salerno and Christian Clay; and "May the Best Man Win!" starring Giulia Diamond, Donny Sins, and Maxwell.
"It’s an extraordinary honor to be recognized by the Doppio Senso Night voters and to find myself in the company of so many gifted, fearless creators," said Ross. "I’m endlessly grateful to the studios who trusted me with these stories, the remarkable crews who gave their all on set, and the incredible performers whose talent and vulnerability made every frame shine. A very special thank you to Axel Braun, whose belief in me over the years has meant the world. His mentorship and friendship have helped shape my path as a filmmaker. These nominations belong to every person who brought their passion to these projects, and I’m humbled and thrilled to share this moment with them."
The 2025 DSN Awards will be presented on Sunday, May 18, at the New Mille Lire venue in Preganziol, in the Treviso province of Italy. The event will serve as the grand finale of the Italian erotic expo Veneto Sex.
