FBI Arrests Creator God Hypnotic on Jan. 6 Insurrection Charges

DETROIT — The Federal Bureau of Investigation last week arrested content creator God Hypnotic, charging him with participating in the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection.

The FBI arrested the Detroit-area creator, whom it described as an “internet pornography personality,” after receiving a tip from a witness that he was “bragging” on a Skype group chat about his actions during the attack on the U.S. Capitol to overthrow the results of the 2020 election.

The witness added that God Hypnotic then recanted and said he had been there “for reporting purposes.”

The FBI also obtained video of someone it alleges is the Michigan performer, entering the Capitol through a broken window.

God Hypnotic has a verified account on xHamster where he offers humiliation content targeted to gay men. Most of the videos posted there are homemade clips of God Hypnotic addressing his viewers and individual men who call in, and repeating homophobic slurs to shame them throughout the videos.

As XBIZ reported, another performer, Sergeant Miles, pleaded guilty in October to assaulting, resisting or impeding law enforcement officers during the Jan. 6 insurrection.
