Vendo to Host Next Payment Processing Conference on Thursday

LUCERNE, Switzerland — Vendo Services will host the next edition of its online conference for high-risk ecommerce merchants on Thursday.

The upcoming Vendo Merchant Conference (VMC) will focus on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday ecommerce period, when merchants expect increased revenue but also face higher chargeback and fraud risks.

According to a rep, the 90-minute conference brings online vendors up to date on the latest regulations and market trends in payment processing, offering a forum for networking and interaction that provides insights from company leaders and invited industry experts.

Director of Data Science Xisca Pericàs will share BFCM statistics and data and provide expert insights. Vendo will also reveal the latest version of its Vendo Data Tools and demonstrate how merchants can leverage them to inform their business strategies.

The conference will wrap up with an update on chargeback dispute services and the open-source PrestaShop platform, among other topics.

CEO and President Mitch Platt said, “Our merchant conferences aim to help ecommerce merchants and streaming content providers achieve better business outcomes, while at the same time finding community with other vendors. It’s great to see familiar faces quarter after quarter.”
