ASACP Names CAM4, Fleshlight, Kate's Tube 'Featured Sponsors' for November

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has named CAM4, Fleshlight and Kate’s Tube as its Featured Sponsors for November 2023.

“ASACP is extremely grateful for the support it receives from its family of sponsors,” said Executive Director Tim Henning. “With new restrictions on adult content and mandates for age verification occurring worldwide, it is more important now than ever before that a united industry takes a stand to preserve its future — and this begins from a foundation of protecting the innocence of youth.”

These are the ASACP descriptions for its November sponsors:

CAM4

An ASACP Title Sponsor and Advisory Council Member whose support extends back to 2012, CAM4.com is vigilant about online child protection due to its live video chat sites where minors may attempt to access these platforms. In addition, minors may also misrepresent their age in an attempt to become paid performers.

The global nature of this business (with varying documentation requirements in different jurisdictions) and the physical separation between the company and its contractors make it a daunting proposition to ensure that performers, let alone viewers, are of legal age. Because of these challenges, ASACP offers a stringent set of Best Practices tailored to the specific needs of live cam site operators, which CAM4 incorporates. CAM4 also takes additional measures such as using the RTA label to block children from its site, illustrating a caring, proactive approach to keeping children safe.

These steps also include a warning page alerting viewers that no CP is present and that anyone posting or seeking underage material will be reported to authorities, with the company aiding in prosecuting these users. This step sends a clear message that CAM4 will not tolerate children on its site.

Fleshlight

An ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2007, Fleshlight and its parent, Interactive Life Forms, is an established leader in sexual health and fulfillment. It serves as a positive example for other adult novelty companies to follow. At the forefront of the development of haptic devices, Fleshlight bridges traditional novelties with the newest technology to bolster connections between people around the world.

According to the company, in an era where vibrators are an acceptable means for female sexual freedom and enjoyment, male sex products have remained a dirty, unwanted cousin to their female counterparts. By providing high-quality, discreet, and tasteful products, the company hopes to help change these perceptions and bring the topic of male sexuality into the public discourse — while focusing on providing adult novelties to adults only.

Kate’s Tube

Since 2019, KatesTube.com has been a proud Corporate Sponsor of ASACP.

“We cooperate with this organization to make the internet safer for children and cleaner for adults,” a company spokesperson said. “While we are not content creators, we monitor the site regularly to ensure that we abide by all relevant policies and guidelines, such as 18 USC ‘2257.”

The spokesperson noted that KatesTube.com is committed to improving its visitor safety and overall user experience. As such, it increased its investment and resources to make its network of sites even cleaner and more secure. It is an investment that the operators of Kate’s Tube hope will serve as an example for its peers to follow.

“We encourage other adult tube sites to step up to an industry leadership role by sponsoring ASACP,” the spokesperson concluded. “Let’s all work together to continue making a tangible difference in online child safety.”

“ASACP appreciates CAM4, Fleshlight and Kate’s Tube for their commitment, generosity, and leadership in supporting the association and its mission to keep children out of and away from adult-oriented content,” Henning concluded. “ASACP’s sponsors are building a better future for the industry and society’s most vulnerable members. We thank them for this and encourage others to help support our efforts on behalf of society’s most vulnerable members.”
