Vendo to Hold 1st Merchant Conference of 2023 on Feb. 16

LUCERNE, Switzerland — Vendo Services will hold its first Merchant Conference of 2023 this Thursday.

The 2022 XBIZ Europa winner for Payment Services Company of the Year will kick off its Feb. 16 event with company updates from Vendo CEO and President Mitch Platt and insights from Director of Data Science Xisca Pericàs on “the key takeaways of 2022 and critical trends in 2023,” a rep said.

Guest speaker and Epag co-founder Julian Migura will share his frontline knowledge of payment systems in emerging markets, and how online merchants can access them.

“In Latin America,” Migura explained, “the e-commerce customer base is expected to expand by 20% and generate more than $160 billion in sales by 2025. But first, vendors need to overcome the hurdles of complex, highly localized payment systems.”

The event will also include updates from Vendo’s Director of Payments and Risk Fernando Latorre on Visa and Mastercard, SEPA and PIX, and an overview by Pericàs on the business benefits of Vendo’s custom reports.

“As our clients know,” Platt noted, “the world of e-commerce and payments is continuously evolving. Our Merchant Conferences bring people together and equip them with mission-critical industry knowledge to help them grow their businesses.”
