MON App Marks Black History Month with 'Black XXXPression' Series

AUSTIN, Texas — New sex-positive social audio app MON is marking Black History Month with the "Black XXXpression" series of in-depth discussions and frank conversation throughout the month.

"MON will open up the dialogue to stories and first-person accounts of Black sexual identity and expression, as well as talks with sex workers, advocates and activists who are bringing their personal experiences exclusively to this growing and thriving community," a rep explained.

MON user King Dom, or "YOURGOD" to submissive clients, is a self-described "CashMaster HypnoDom and online fantasy provider" who specializes in "uninhibited exploration of lust and desire."

The "Black XXXpression" series focuses on "discussing the experiences of Black and African diaspora communities from the sex-positive to celebrations of identity, preference and desire to the challenges POC kinksters, lifestyle enthusiasts and sex workers may face," Dom said.

"Since I first came on to the MON app, I was pleasantly surprised how the community supports various topics of discussion," they continued. "It seemed like not doing this would be a disservice to all communities represented on MON if I didn't do something like 'Black XXXpression' during Black History Month."

Pup is a MON "Black Men in Gear" community founder, kinkster and "gearman."

"'Black Men in Gear' has a duty and purpose of continuing to provide a safe space for Black men in the ‘gear’ community online and outside of that," Pup explained. "On the MON app, we will chat about why creating Black/POC kink-safe spaces is important and what are you doing to be an ally."

"Being Black isn’t a choice for us; it’s just who we are," they continued. "MON helps us to project that through its audio services, as well as creating a safe space for others to hear and participate. Woof!”

Meghan Sapphire is a noted radio personality and podcaster who has worked with CBS Radio, SiriusXM and iHeartMedia as well as Playboy Radio and Vivid.

"As a Black woman who’s always been vocal about sex-positivity, it’s extremely important for people outside of my race and community to get an understanding of the experiences we face," she noted. "With the MON app, we have the opportunity to sit down virtually with others who may in real life never be able to ask, listen and learn."

Caleth Jones is the founder and CEO of MON.

"We want to bring in fresh voices that address these experiences in a positive, meaningful way. We are proud to build such a diverse community so quickly, and excited to help amplify these essential voices in our sex-positive community and provide a safe space for such important conversations," he said.

Find MON online and on Apple's App Store and follow the company on Twitter.
