Lindsey Banks Launches VR 'Cam'paign, Custom Headsets

AUSTIN, Texas — Camgirl Lindsey Banks has announced she is now camming in VR and will mark her birthday "'Cam'paign" on Thursday with a special live show and the launch of new VR offerings in her online store.

“If you have watched any video in VR, you have an idea of how revolutionary the technology can be for the industry,” Banks said. “I’m so excited to offer this game-changing technology to my favorite people and devoted supporters at Stripchat.”

The performer will begin accepting pre-orders Thursday for a custom VR headset through her BanksieTV merch shop.

"The design in terms of comfort and functionality were the most important factors for Lindsey: hands-free, adjustable strap and lens, as well as lightweight; all headsets are compatible with and fit most smartphones," a rep explained. "The most exciting thing for her was creating the product’s aesthetic, a clean monochromatic color scheme, all branded as 'BanksieTV' with a special note on the bottom of every package. Lindsey's personal involvement included managing and producing the entire 'Cam'paign vision and working hands-on with the product to provide a quality item that comes with a gateway to cyber life for webcam."

The following purchase options will be available beginning Thursday until November 1:

  • "Banksie’s Bag": VR headset ($60)
  • "Banksie’s Box": VR headset and a signed photo ($100)
  • "Banksie’s Bundle": All "Box" items, plus an exclusive photoset to view in VR, a video in VR and a special exclusive VR show ($150)

“I’m so excited to share this new experience with everyone,” Banks enthused. “VR is the future of camming; you can get so much closer to me now — and I can get so much closer to you.”

Banks' broadcasts in VR for Stripchat are in partnership with Dreamcam.
