CAM4 Hosts 2-Day Digital Event to Raise Grant Funds for Sex Workers

LOS ANGELES — CAM4 has announced a two-day event, CAM4 x NSFW Relief, to broadcast exclusively Friday and Saturday on the platform.

From 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (PDT), CAM4 x NSFW Relief will host panel discussions, sensual workshops and erotic performances broadcast globally with the goal of raising $10,000 in grant funds for sex workers and sex-positive creators ineligible for government relief.

CAM4 x NSFW Relief will include panels on “Sex in the COVID City” (nightlife and sex leaders discussing the new rules of play) and “CAMLife” (OnlyFans and cam stars talking digital monetization). With their international user base, CAM4 will share insight on both panels about the effect that lockdown has had on virtual sex and sex work.

The event will include performances by Sky Blue, Blaine Petrovia, Chris Diamond, ViKerrious, Ariel Ash and over 30 educators, Dommes, dancers and adult stars. Live recordings of podcasts "WHOREible Decisions" and "Guys We Fucked" are also included in the two-day lineup.

While panels will be hosted virtually, the NSFW Clubhouse in Soho, New York will open for an event for the first time since February to host performers and educators and a handful of members. The clubhouse activities will be streamed live to CAM4 "offering the world their first post-lockdown peek inside NYC’s most exclusive spot to get naughty," according to a rep.

"The Clubhouse will be sanitized by a New York state-certified service before each event, there will be on-site sanitation stations and a clean-code-of-conduct for all attendees," they added. "Attendance will be capped at 20 people (10% capacity) in the Clubhouse per day. Guests will be required to remove outside clothes before entering the Clubhouse. Guests must bring clothes to wear in the Clubhouse in a sealed ziplock bag. Temperature checks will take place at the door."

All guests will be required to wear face masks while inside the Clubhouse; there will be CAM4 x NSFW Relief branded masks provided to all attendees.

Masks will be available to purchase for virtual attendees.

CAM4 stated they are "adhering to a 'No New Sex' policy in the NSFW Clubhouse, meaning that you can enjoy the space with an existing partner, while socially distanced from other members," adding that they are "asking members to limit physical contact with new partners while at the Clubhouse. We are asking all guests to know their status. Free coronavirus tests are available now at CityMD."
