Clips4Sale 'Legal Zone' Webinar to Dissect Controversial AB2389

TAMPA, Fla. — Adult industry attorneys Corey D. Silverstein and Lawrence G. Walters will join Clips4Sale founder Neil's "Legal Zone" webinar on Monday to discuss California Assembly Bill 2389.

The legislation, known as the "Sex Worker Permit Bill," has been a controversial topic of conversation in the industry since Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia introduced it last month. Neil, Silverstein and Walters will "break down the relevant pieces of the bill, its implications, why this is an attack on free speech, and actions the adult community can take to combat the bill," according to a rep.

"The State of California continues its seemingly endless attacks on the adult entertainment industry with its newest bill, AB2389, explained Silverstein. "This recent attack on free speech and adult entertainment workers in California may be the most brazen yet as apparently the State of California wants to dictate whether an adult entertainer has the right to consensually engage in adult entertainment."

The webinar will also include a live question-and-answer session and an update from Walters on the federal appeals court ruling on the constitutional challenge to FOSTA.

The webinar takes place on Monday, March 9, at 1 p.m. (PST).
