Stormy Daniels Crowdfunding Campaign Hits Half-Million-Dollar Mark

LOS ANGELES — Adult superstar Stormy Daniels has raised more than a half-million dollars via CrowdJustice.com to fund her lawsuits against President Trump.

Daniels, who will host the 2019 XBIZ Awards, has raised $503,831 so far on the site, which is dedicated to helping people raise money for legal fees.

Her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, has repeatedly pointed to the public site as evidence that he and his client aren’t bankrolled by Trump’s political foes.

CrowdJustice.com donors can choose whether to share their names with the person seeking funds. The site displays donations with either a first name or as anonymous donor.

Daniels has filed two suits against Trump. One is a defamation suit for the contents of a tweet about the sketch of a man who allegedly threatened her in 2011.

Also, Daniels sued him and his longtime personal attorney, Michael Cohen, to dissolve a nondisclosure agreement she signed days before the election in exchange for $130,000.

The campaign, initiated on March 14, runs for 25 more days on the site.
