Greg Lansky's Strike 3 Holdings Sues 7 BitTorrent Pirates

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Blacked/Vixen/Tushy parent company Strike 3 Holdings LLC has filed seven federal lawsuits against individuals who stole content via file distribution network BitTorrent from Greg Lansky's paysites.

"Defendant is, in a word, stealing these works on a grand scale," said Shelby Township attorney Joel Bernier, in one of the complaints.

Strike 3 aims to stop the users, each of whom are identified as "John Doe," from infringing on copyrighted works, delete the digital files and pay damages, as well as cover attorney fees.

According to a company rep, Lansky's "motion pictures have had positive global impact, leading more adult studios to invest in better content, higher pay for performers and to treat each performer with respect and like an artist."

Strike 3 tracked down the physical addresses of the defendants with Maxmind Inc. IP address tech, finding three of them in Grand Rapids and the rest in Bellevue, Big Rapids, Kalamazoo and Rapid City in Kalkaska County.
