Clean Light to Showcase UVee at SHE L.A. This Weekend

LOS ANGELES — Clean Light Laboratories has announced that its UVee product will be showcased at the next Sexual Health Expo (SHE), to be held today, Feb. 4, and tomorrow Sunday, Feb. 5 at the California Market Center (CMC) in Los Angeles.

UVee, a solution for storing, charging and sanitizing adult toys, was invented by Carrie Martz, president of the Arizona-based Clean Light Laboratories, and her daughter Brooke O’Connor. After months of development, two sizes of UVee are ready for sale and will make their SHE L.A. debut this weekend: the Home Play and Go Play.

Home Play, Martz said, “takes ten minutes to kill 99.9 percent of all germs associated with the use of toys and features three USB charging stations as well as room enough for toys as large as the Magic Wand.” And Go Play, Martz said, “sanitizes in five minutes, is rechargeable, has one USB charging station and holds several compact toys and/or standard size toys.”

“Both systems have been scientifically proven to kill 99.9 percent of all germs,” Martz said. “Both lock for safe storage.”

UVee and LELO are sponsoring the 45-minute workshop “Self-Care and Taking Charge of Your Own Pleasure,” to be presented by sexuality and relationship expert Psalm Isadora at SHE L.A. on Saturday.

“We are excited to be partnering with LELO, known for innovative design, at SHE,” Martz said. “We just hit our goal on Kickstarter with two of LELO’s award-winning pleasure objects and are happy to be offering them again packaged with UVee at SHE.”

SHE has been a bicoastal event in the United States. Last year, UVee was featured at SHE’s New York City expo on Sept. 24-25 at Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn.

“We are excited to be back at SHE,” Martz said. “We participated in SHE New York and found the exposure was perfect for our type of product. We are very much focused on empowering customers to take care of themselves while properly taking care of their toys, and SHE is the perfect forum for us to deliver that message.”

Clean Light Laboratories was founded in 2015. Martz said the company “is dedicated to finding better ways to help people enjoy the use of their pleasure products in a cleaner and healthier environment. Empowering customers to take care of themselves while properly taking care of their toys is the mainstay of the company.”

The California Market Center is located at 110 E. 9th St. near Main St. in Downtown Los Angeles.
