HoloFilm Scores 5 XBIZ Awards Nominations

LOS ANGELES — HoloFilm Productions has scored five nominations in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, four of them for HoloGirlsVR.com. The event will be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.

Utherverse/HoloFilms received a nomination for Progressive Web Company of the Year, while HoloGirlsVR.com is up for Adult Site of the Year: Virtual Reality. And HoloGirlsVR.com also picked up nominations for Best Sex Scene: Virtual Reality for “Poke a Ho: Misty” with Penny Pax and Manuel Ferrara, “Party of Sex” with Pax, Ferrara, Karla Kush, Karlee Grey, Mick Blue and Xander Corvus, and “Christen the New House: Getflix’n Chill Sequel” with Yhivi and ShreddZ. 

“A big thank you to XBIZ for our awards nominations,” said Anna Lee, president and executive producer for HoloFilm Productions. “We appreciate being recognized for our efforts and commitment to the industry's next-generation level of filmmaking.”

Lee was nominated for Progressive Leadership Award in the 2017 XBIZ Exec Awards, to be held at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood. The online edition of the 2017 XBIZ Exec Awards will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 10, followed by the retail edition on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

HoloFilm’s camera system offers a realistic first-person VR experience, with each individual scene shot in 220 degrees in 3D with binaural sound and its patented NoSick anti-motion sickness technology.
