Amber Lynn's Rock'N'SeXXXy Welcoming Lou Rawls, Jr. on Thursday

LOS ANGELES — Amber Lynn will welcome singer Lou Rawls, Jr. this Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. PST on "Rock'N'SeXXXy Uncensored," to be broadcast online at LATalkRadio.com and Stitcher.com

Rawls, Jr. is the son of the late R&B star Lou Rawls, Sr., remembered for hits like 1967’s “Dead End Street,” 1966’s “Love Is a Hurtin’ Thing” and 1969’s “Your Good Thing (Is About to End).” His biggest hit was 1976’s “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine,” written and produced by Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff for Philadelphia International Records.

Rawls, Jr. will discuss his current projects as well as growing up with his father. Listeners can call in live to (323) 203-0815 during the broadcast.

“Following in his father’s footsteps, Lou Rawls, Jr. has spent his entire life immersed in music, adding his own swagger to timeless classics popularized by his father Lou Rawls — who is regarded by many as one of the greatest entertainers of all time,” a spokesperson for "Rock'N'SeXXXy Uncensored” said.

Rawls, Jr. is working on his album, “Winner,” a collaboration with Won’G. Collaborating with Robert Egan, Rawls, Jr. co-wrote the script for “Through the Eyes of a Son” — a film in which Isaiah Washington will portray his father, who passed away in 2006.
