Vivid Virtual Launches With 'Kim Kardashian Experience'

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment has announced the launch of its virtual reality site, VividVirtual.com.

To mark the debut of the new service, Vivid will introduce “The Kim Kardashian Superstar VR Experience,” enabling fans to enjoy an unprecedented view of one of today’s most celebrated pop culture figures.

While Kardashian does not appear in any new footage, “The Kim Kardashian Superstar VR Experience” incorporates footage from the best selling sex tape, “Kim Kardashian Superstar.”

“The early reactions to the pre-launch version of VividVirtual.com have been fantastic,” said Michael H. Klein, President of Broadcasting and Internet for Vivid. “VividVirtual.com offers exclusive new adult content shot specifically for VR viewing as well as completely re-imagined ways to enjoy our most popular movies and other content.”

Klein notes that fans will be able to access the site with all VR methods, including Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, Google Cardboard or any other VR equipment.

According to the company, Vivid has been working closely on the new site with 3XStudios

“We knew that Vivid was the ideal brand for us to partner with. Their over 30 year legacy of offering the industry’s most award winning and highly sought after videos really aligns with our capabilities in the VR space,” said Adam Block, co-founder and CEO of 3XStudios.  “We share the same passion for producing industry leading and top quality content. It’s the perfect match for us.”

Daniel DiLallo, VR Director at 3XStudios and Mode VR said that “The Kim Kardashian Superstar VR Experience” will delight fans.

“Just imagine having your favorite star climb out of your TV screen and join you in our immersive new 360-3D world,” DiLallo declares. “It truly is the ultimate adult fantasy!”

3XStudios describes itself as home to “developer nerds at heart.” Its founders have both served in lead roles for Activision and Sony development studios with history working on such titles as Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, Transformers, Spiderman and many others.
