Vivid Inks With Harmony for U.K., Europe Distribution

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment announced today that it has inked a DVD distribution deal with London-based Harmony Films Ltd. for the U.K. and European markets.  

“We are delighted to sign with Harmony,” said Michael H. Klein,  Vivid Entertainment’ president for broadcast and internet. “Harmony is a formidable presence in the U.K. and European markets and we feel this collaboration will result in a broader distribution for our films in this vital area.”

Vivid has one of the largest movie archive of any single studio and is  well known for its proprietary celebrity sex tapes featuring such personalities as Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson, Farrah Abraham and many others. Vivid also owns a library of critically acclaimed comic hero parodies and feature films. 

“We are very pleased with this new partnership which allows us to add this iconic brand into our current European DVD release schedule,” said James Wright, vice president of sales and marketing at Harmony, which distributes its own set of studio titles.
