Akira Lane Relaunches Official Membership Site

LOS ANGELES — Akira Lane has launched an updated version of her official website, AkiraLane.com.

This new iteration is a database-driven design using all the latest content management and delivery features. AkiraLane.com will feature photo sets with zip files, streaming videos, webcams, an Internet store and interactive member features along with regular rotations of older archived photos and videos.

"This has been a long time coming and represents many months of work," Lane said. "After 15-plus years in the business, I needed a way to rotate my content along with bringing new, fresh content to the membership. The new site also gives me the ability to interact, communicate and update my members from my cell phone directly to the website, thus integrating social media with my site."

AkiraLane.com will feature Lane in weekly webcam shows, and members will have access to Vicky Vette's entire VNA Live webcam network without an additional cost. Lane's cam shows will be archived for members to enjoy.

Lane will be celebrating the site's relaunch at a special birthday party at P71 in Studio City, Calif. on Sun., Jun. 12. Fellow adult star Alec Knight will be celebrating his birthday there as well that night.

AkiraLane.com was developed in partnership with PeedyMedia, a photography, design and media studio. PeedyMedia offers solutions for website construction and management that can include billing, hosting and support. Additionally, PeedyMedia offers airbrushing services for photographers, models and studios.

"I have been a fan and friend of Akira for nearly 15 years," said Peedy, owner of PeedyMedia. "However, it wasn't until we had some discussions over the last 12 months that we realized we had a unique opportunity to help one another, and I'm proud of what we've created. We are developing plans to market our low-cost solutions to smaller companies and models."
