C.J. Asher Requests Bernie Sanders Interview

PHILADELPHIA — Sex and adult entertainment blogger C.J. Asher has requested an interview with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, currently running against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the Democratic presidential primary.

A spokesperson for Asher said, “Ashler’s goal is to share Sanders’ views and positions on various topics related to sexuality that are not generally covered by mainstream media, but that impact millions of United States citizens, both personally as well as professionally, through the multi-billion dollar adult entertainment industry.”

Jessica Scott, CEO of the Philadelphia-based firm Jessica Scott Marketing and Events, contacted the Sanders campaign on Asher’s behalf and said in a letter, “My client, C.J. Asher, is a well-known and respected sex and adult entertainment blogger as well as a fierce supporter of women’s rights and LGBT equality, two issues which we know are important to Sen. Sanders in his campaign to become our next president. Mr. Asher would like to request an interview with Sen. Sanders to discuss these issues, along with other issues such as efforts to fight sex trafficking, sexual health services and free speech.”

Scott, in her letter, also said, “Mr. Asher would like to share Senator Sanders’ views and positions on the impact that current and proposed laws will have on the multi-billion dollar adult entertainment industry and its hundreds of thousands of employees all across the country, many of whom are treated as criminals and second-class citizens by misguided conservative policies and principles.”

Asher, based in Philadelphia, features gentlemen’s club reviews and adult industry news on his site CJAsher.com. Asher has interviewed Dennis Hof, owner of the World Famous Moonlite Bunny Ranch, BurningAngel.com founder Joanna Angel and others.
