Stag Shop Launches New Website

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — Adult retail chain Stag Shop, which focuses on “enhancing sexual awareness and sexual well-being” has unveiled its new new website. In addition to providing thousands of product listings, the site aims to create a sex-positive vibe by providing shopping tips and information about sexual health.

All the website’s operations including billing and shipping are done in-house.

“We want customers to use our website to find products that are best suited for them,” Erin Anstey, Stag Shop’s general manager, said. “We offer helpful tips on how to choose a dildo, how to clean and care for vibrators, how to use anal plugs, and so on. We also offer a product review section, so customers can choose the most appropriate toy.”

While most retail sites just focus on making sales, Stag Shop’s goal is to create a more-educated clientele.

“Our previous web presence was just product focused,” Jennifer Jean, public relations director for Stag Shop, told XBIZ. “With the new site, we’re offering more of a how-to guide. Here we’re helping the customer choose an item, but we’re also making sure they know how to use it. It’s not just about making the sale.”

In addition to relaunching the company’s website, Jean also said Stag Shop plans to launch sexual awareness seminars at three store locations. The first seminar topics will be “How to Seduce Your Man,” “Bigger and Better Orgasms” and “Dirty Talk.” A popular Canadian sexual therapist will be leading the discussion.

“Everyone has different sexual needs,” Jean said. “With that in mind, we’ve created a website with something for everyone.”

Started in 1972 in southwestern Ontario, Stag Shop now operates 16 retail outlets in Canada.
