FSC General Membership Meeting

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — The Free Speech Coalition has announced that it will hold its general membership meeting on Thursday, April 20 at the Marriott Warner Center in Woodland Hills, California.

Four speakers are set to address the meeting on a range of topics.

Jeffrey Douglas, FSC board chairman will update the industry on current 2257 litigation. Douglas also will provide analysis of S. 4472, new 2257 legislation recently introduced in the Senate.

Stephen Rohde, an attorney on the FSC Utah litigation team will discuss the status of the FSC Utah Child Protection Registry litigation.

Attorney Reed Lee, FSC board member, will speak on the recent 11th Circuit Court of Appeals decision striking down the pandering provision of the Protect Act.

FSC communications director Tom Hymes will update the meeting on .XXX and give insights from the ICANN meeting in New Zealand.

A question-and-answer session will follow.

Members and non-members are encouraged to attend.

A networking reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the membership meeting at 6 p.m., which will be moderated by FSC Executive Director Michelle L. Freridge.
