Video Secrets, SexToy Announce Partnership

CALABASAS, Calif. — Live webcam show provider Video Secrets has announced a new strategic partnership with SexToy.com, an online distributor of adult toys and novelties.

Video Secrets said the partnership will allow customers to interact with their favorite performers by being able to send them physical gifts.

Performers will be able to add toys, lingerie and other intimate items to their personal wish list, which becomes viewable online as part of their profile.

Their fans can then send those gifts through a third-party, keeping both the customer’s and performer’s information private.

The company said these gifts create a closer connection between customers and performers.

"Our goal is to allow performers and their fans to share a new level of intimacy online while maintaining the anonymity and security that keeps everyone completely comfortable," said Brad Estes, manager of operations for Video Secrets.

"Our new service is the first of its kind and makes real world gift giving a simple point-and-click process for anyone enjoying a virtual live show performance on any Video Secrets website."

He said internal testing during the soft-launch phase of the new toy system has already shown great results.

"More private shows, higher retention numbers and an increase of the average show duration let us know that this is the system our fans and performers wanted and that we are implementing it in a way that is very easy to use," Estes said.

"When fans feel they have greater control over their environment and a more direct relationship with their favorite performers, they get an improved experience and our performers are able to convert casual visitors into loyal recurring site users."

Sextoy.com was founded by Dave Levine, aka SexToy Dave in 1995.

“We’re extremely happy about the outcome of this launch with Video Secrets,” Levine said.

“We’ve signed up hundreds of performers through Video Secrets’ system within the first few days and sales seem to be steadily growing since.”
