XBIZ.net to Power 2011 XBIZ Awards Voting

LOS ANGELES — For the first time ever, the adult industry’s top social network community, XBIZ.net, will weigh in on select award categories during the final voting period of the highly anticipated 2011 XBIZ Awards.

XBIZ.net members whose areas of business best correspond with the selected award categories will receive voting forms on Monday, Jan. 10 and will have until midnight on Wednesday, Jan. 13 to submit their votes for the finalist nominees.

The ninth annual XBIZ Awards are scheduled for Feb. 9 at the legendary Hollywood Palladium.

Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane is set to host Hollywood's sexiest red-carpet gala of the year, which highlights a week of standard-setting industry trade events that includes digital media conference XBIZ LA (Feb. 7-9) and XBIZ Retail Expo & Conference (Feb. 9-11). Both events will be held at the Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles.

XBIZ President and Publisher Alec Helmy said that with a final nominee list spanning over 100 award categories, the 2011 XBIZ Awards reaches a milestone.

“The 2011 XBIZ Awards show is set to recognize the most expansive array of categories in XBIZ Awards history,” Helmy said. “With the explosive growth and popularity of our social network, it makes perfect sense to open up the final voting process to members of XBIZ.net and allowing their diverse opinions and experiences to fuel the results of what’s sure to be the grandest business awards show in the history of adult entertainment.”
