Shane's World Inks Worldwide Deal With Plaid Bag Media

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Shane’s World Studios has signed an exclusive worldwide licensing deal with Plaid Bag Media.

Specializing in international content delivery, Plaid Bag Media will make the studio’s movies available on broadcast, hotel PPV, IPTV and VOD.

The exclusive licensing deal consists of all of Shane’s World’s upcoming 2011 releases, including the recently wrapped “Shane’s World 42."

The deal also includes the entire Shane’s World library of titles.

“The deal with Shane’s World further strengthens the amazing content Plaid Bag Media can offer our clients in the U.S. and overseas,” said Peter Reynolds, owner of Plaid Bag Media.

“Based on the strength of Shane’s World’s DVD sales, we are certain to see an equally impressive consumer demand for the movies on other delivery platforms.”

In November, Shane’s World inked an exclusive DVD distribution deal with Adam & Eve, which was Plaid Bag Media’s first client in 2008 and is now exclusively represented by Plaid Bag.

The companies said a partnership made sense due to the strong connections between the three entities. Shane’s World’s first release to be distributed by Adam & Eve and Plaid Bag Media will be “Shane’s World 42.”
