IntenseCash’s Parent Acquires JustUsBoys.com

WESTMINSTER, Colo. — The operator of IntenseCash on Monday said it acquired the JustUsBoys.com website and magazine.

Billed as “The Free Gay Guide to the Sexy Side of the Net,” JustUsBoys.com began in 2005. Its print publication has a circulation of 100,000.

Mark Erickson, president of IntenseCash’s parent, BluMedia, said that advertisers will benefit from exposure both online and in print, reaching more potential customers than with single media platforms.

“Having the magazine and one of the largest free gay sites in the world in addition to our IntenseCash affiliate program and GayMainStreet.com webmaster board will give BluMedia unprecedented marketing power,” Erickson said.

Erickson said he intends to ramp up circulation of the magazine, which is the largest per issue free gay adult publication in the nation.

“We expect to expand the reach of JustUsBoys.com magazine by mid-year and increase penetration throughout the Midwest and other under served areas,” Erickson said.

With the acquisition, adult industry veteran Andrew “AndyMike” Yancey will become an employee of BluMedia and remain in his current position as webmaster of JustUsBoys.com. Shannon Prewitt, one of the current owners of JustUsBoys.com, will continue to manage the JustUsBoys.com Magazine and coordinate consumer events and promotions for BluMedia.

Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed but Erickson said it was in “the millions of dollars.”

Besides GayMainStreet.com and Intense Cash, BluMedia also owns a large collection of gay adult membership sites, including BrokeStraightBoys.com, CollegeBoyPhysicals.com, BrokeCollegeBoys.com and BoyGusher.com, as well as more than a dozen other properties.
