AbbyWinters.com CEO Hall Makes Statement on Police Raid

MELBOURNE, Australia — G Media CEO Garion Hall has issued a statement about the police raid on the AbbyWinters.com offices earlier this week. The statement was reported on Australian anticensorship blog SomebodyThinkOfTheChildren.com.

G Media, headquartered in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, is the parent company of AbbyWinters.com.

Hall said that Victoria police acted on a warrant to search the premises of AbbyWinters.com. The raid was instigated by a tabloid journalist from the Herald Sun who has written about AbbyWinters.com in the past, trying to encourage authorities to act.

Hall said no charges were made by the police and that no hardware was seized. Police were supplied with copies of all information that they requested and, Hall said, the police were polite and amiable.

A portion of the laws of the state of Victoria state, "A person must not, for the purpose of gain, make or produce an objectionable film." and indicate no statute of limitations for the crime.

AbbyWinters.com operates three websites and also releases girl-girl and solo content on DVDs, through VOD and other media channels. The company features "healthy, happy, natural amateur Australian girls, emphasizing unscripted real sex in natural settings, produced to exacting artistic and technical standards."

The website posts U.S.C. 2257 compliance information in accordance with U.S. law, listing Hall as custodian of records.
