FSC Sets 2257 3rd-Party Record-keeping Forum

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Adult industry trade association the Free Speech Coalition will moderate a forum to discuss the potential development of recommendations for 2257 third-party record-keepers. The Forum will be held on the last day of the XBIZ Conference, Feb. 12.

“There are a couple of things we're trying to do,” FSC Executive Director Diane Duke told XBIZ. “We want to bring people together around the issue of third-party records and the significant changes that have happened with the 2257 regulations. Any time we get those changes, we get a lot of calls at the office, so we want to see if there is a desire to have some recommendations regarding how to comply with the new third-party records rules, whether you're somebody who keeps records, or you're looking for somebody to be your third-party records keeper.

"We're going to come together, have some discussions around that, see if there's any interest in getting those recommendations out. And if there is — and I think there will be — make sure we have all the right people to develop that process.

The forum is open to all interested parties: FSC membership or registration at the XBIZ Conference is not required. It is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. at the Hidden Hills room in the Woodland Hills Marriott, where the XBIZ Conference is taking place.
