XBIZ Announces Stellar Seminar, Events Lineup for 2009 Conference

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ has officially announced the lineup of hard-hitting seminars and special events scheduled for the highly anticipated XBIZ State of the Industry Conference ’09 to be held Feb. 10-12 in Woodland Hills, Calif.

Holding true to the show’s theme, the conference’s two-track educational component will encompass all of the essential hot topics facing the adult industry today, including the impact of tube sites on the online marketplace, legal realities under an Obama administration, opportunities beyond traditional video content and billing and banking in a new economy.

“The show’s mission is to shed light on the many issues affecting adult businesses today and the challenges industry members will encounter in the coming months,” XBIZ President Alec Helmy said. “The hurdles we face and the business decisions we must make have never been so critical, and our goal with the XBIZ State of the Industry Conference is to help our attendees get prepared and gain maximum confidence for what the future holds.”

XBIZ Seminar Coordinator Tom Hymes said he and Marketing and Development Manager Anne Winter worked together for months to develop a solid lineup of seminars that attendees won’t be able to find at any other show.

“We worked very hard to create an essential educational component to the State of the Industry Conference,” Hymes said. “I’m confident that attendees will walk away with tremendous insight.” Until Dec. 1, registration will be free to those who checked in at XBIZ Summer ’08 Forum. For new attendees, registration will be $200, which will grant them free access to the XBIZ Summer ’09 Forum in Las Vegas.

The XBIZ Conference 2009 culminates with the 8th Annual XBIZ Awards, set for Feb. 12 in Hollywood, Calif., at one of the city’s sexiest nightclubs, Boulevard 3.
